Learn About Senior Isolation and Loneliness
A death in the family. A financial dilemma. Maybe even a disconnect after a big move. There are many reasons why a senior may become socially isolated or have feelings of loneliness. Unfortunately for most, these issues may only worsen with age – creating numerous health risks over time.
A recent study from the CDC found that seniors experiencing social isolation or loneliness were at significantly greater risk for serious health problems.
Educating caring people about senior issues is one of the core reasons Ready to Care® was created. Being knowledgeable let’s us find the empathy and compassion to create a world today that we all want to grow older in.
