Celebrate Those Who Care

There are many ways to help out seniors in your community. But it takes a special person to provide professional care to those in need. Celebrate a care pro today.

They’re the first to help out family or friends in a time of need. They enjoy listening to others and learning new things. They are patient, calm and composed. Care isn’t just something they do on occasion; care is always on their mind.

Whether they’re a doctor, nurse, professional caregiver, senior activities coordinator, or a similar role — they aim to help others.  And they should be celebrated for it.

This week, reach out to a senior care professional to say thank you.

Check out our recent blog to find ways to celebrate those who care.

My best friend Teresa Parrott has been running a soup kitchen and a food pantry and catering and she does all that stuff for years now and I have stood beside her and worked with her in the food pantry in the soup kitchen for 15 to 20 years now and when the pandemic hit of course she could no longer do the soup kitchen and food pantry. So, now, what she does is she cooks she’s got a separate building beside her house and she cooks all the meals that she normally would cook for a soup kitchen on Tuesdays and people line up in cars every Tuesday to get their free meal. I help in delivering meals to a seniors building every Tuesday evening also. And it’s been such a blessing.

There is a Non Profit organization that helps so many families get back to where they need to be as a whole. It is the Compassion House. They mentor them, feed them, cloth them, and Worship and Pray with them. I told the lady Thanks for all they do and to have a Blessed Day 🙏

I would like to appreciate all healthcare professionals and those who are also studying to take on this effort to help others also those who have either retired like my mother and others who have in the past. God blessed us all with them.
