Your Care Mission:

Teaching the younger generation to show care and kindness for seniors helps to build bonds across generations. This week, help carry out an act of kindness with a kid, and show them just how easy it can be to make a difference.

5 Easy Acts of Kindness Kids Can Do for Seniors

  1. Make a card to send to a senior loved one or a senior center.
  2. Visit a senior or senior center.
  3. Bring flowers.
  4. Hold open a door.
  5. Deliver snacks.

Teaching kids kindness can help make the world a more caring place now and in the future.

  6. I have 4 Goddaughter’s & I’ve taught them all to go out in their backyards and pick flowers ? and make a beautiful bouquet ? for the elderly people in their lives whom they love already, such as an aunt or grandmother, and then to make a beautiful card for them (or I would take them down to the local Hallmark store and help them choose a card with a lovely sentiment in it) and to write something personal in their cards especially for the person they would give the bouquet to… And I also taught them to write thank you notes to everyone who they received any gifts from during the years they grew up! Not only do they all know how to write in Cursive, they still write thank you cards back to everyone who they receive gifts from each time they receive one! They don’t text it, they actually write it out on a physical card they’ve chosen and they mail it out within two days after they’ve received their gifts! Now that is an accomplishment on every level to have any Millennial generation child do this! And I am so happy that I instilled this in them as now they. Do it without me ever having to tell them to do it and they’ve done it for years… ♥️?????
