By participating in the annual Give65 fundraiser between July 13-16, your donation of just $10 – less than a burger and a pop – helps provide meals, dementia care, rides, social activities caregiver respite, hospice care and more to less fortunate aging adults.
Why give through Give65?
Give65, the signature program of Home Instead® Charities, is the first and only crowd-fundraising platform focused on raising money for senior-serving charitable organizations in the U.S. and Canada. Since 2016, the growing community of charitable organizations has raised and awarded more than $3.8 million to provide access to services and programs helping older adults age with dignity and independence.
3 Things You Didn’t Know Seniors Need
- Contact – We all need the human touch. Charitable organizations such as Nutrition & Services for Seniors and Meals on Wheels in the U.S. and Spencer House in Canada not only provide nourishment and food for impoverished older adults, but also daily social interaction – helping curb isolation and depression.
- Housing – While hunger often gets the most attention, many older adults live under the constant stress of housing insecurity. Programs such as the Joplin Area Fuller Center of Housing provide home repairs and bring homes up to code to live.
- Terminal Support – Your final days should be spent doing incredible things. The Dreamweaver Foundation helps seniors who are terminally ill live out their life-long dreams.
