Lift Each Other in Prayer

Help us make the world a better place for seniors by completing a simple act of kindness. Together, we can make a difference.

We would like to take a moment to pray for the members of our families and communities - especially seniors in need.

Elderly man and woman sit silently togther in prayer.

The impact of the corona virus is being felt around the world. You hear the news, you read the paper. You know how deeply this pandemic is affecting your communities and even your own families. In times of distress and worry, we turn to prayer to guide us through our days. When we cannot physically lend a hand, we can still lift each other in spirit.

This week let’s keep each other in prayer.

Lord, keep safe our seniors who are at high risk. Wrap them in the warmth of your love so they know they are not alone.Lord, grant eternal rest to those who have fallen victim to this terrible virus. Give comfort to their families who mourn their loss.

Lord, heal those afflicted with this virus. Guide their doctors and caretakers who work to restore them to good health.

Lord, protect our nurses, doctors, emergency responders, caregivers and all healthcare workers. Keep them well and fortify their spirits as they continue to serve.

Lord, watch over those who have lost jobs, had hours cut, or who are going without a paycheck. Give them peace in the face of the unknown.

Lord, look after our parents, teachers and children who are challenged with being away from schools and offices. Not everyone benefits from learning or working remotely. Give them patience in these trying times.

Lord, bless the farmers, growers, producers and manufacturers who are working around the clock to keep up with demand. May they know how much their work is appreciated.

Lord, help our leaders as they guide us through uncharted waters. Inspire them to make prudent decisions that are in the best interest for all.
